Well Darren is going to have STOMACH SURGERY!!!
After a looking at Darren's complete digestive track 4 different ways our Dr. has only found one abnormality, he has a Diverticulum of the stomach which is a pouch (the surgeon said looks kinda like a mushroom on the outside of his stomach) that has grown off the fundus part of the stomach...(for all those non-medical people-like myself- thats the top of the stomach). His diverticulum is 4cm big which according to the radiologist, Dr. and surgeon is VERY large and explains his stomach pain and bad burps.
We are anxiously awaiting the surgery, it has about a week of serious recovery and then three more weeks where he can't lift things but we have a good feeling that this might just do the trick to helping him feel better! So of course keep him in your prayers on April 14th, while he has his surgery!

I'm wondering if it's genetic. Brandon has had stomach pains for years. We think it's a stomach ulcer, but crappy health insurance = just live with it. Hope all goes well with the surgery!
ps Sydney looks precisely like a Cabbage Patch doll in your header picture. Those girls are too, too cute!
Good luck! I'd volunteer to babysit, but we'll be gone for a job interview that very day! Let me know if you need any help during recovery or prep!
