Christmas projects! (plus some others)

I didn't get pictures of all my projects but I added some pictures of where I got the ideas from.....

I made one set of these mine were blue and maroon though!

I stacked two of these books together to make one BIG hiding place
These are magnets that can stick in the tin lunch pail.

This was one of my favorite projects I made a BUNCH of them

These are bean bags there is 26 of them one for each letter.

This is a crib blanket I made for one of my DEAREST of friends

...and the bumper to match

Grand FINALE this took me all summer to finish (This is actually the one Darren's mom made us but I made the exact same thing but with different names...my brother and his wife)

I know I went a little overboard (as usual) and it's been a busy year but a REALLY fun one I LOVE to craft....now what should I make for next year???

Chocolate Mousse Torte!

I found this recipe in my sisters Martha Stewart magazine and I HAD to try it. It is super yummy! I think I'll make it again over the Christmas Holiday while we are at Darren's! It was to die for!!

Here is the recipe if you would like to try it:

37 Nilla wafers
4 squares Baker's Semi Sweet Chocolate
2pkg (3.9oz) Jello Chocolate Instant Pudding
2 cups plus 2tbs cold milk
1 tub (8oz) Cool Whip (thawed)
1 pkg (8oz) Cream Cheese (softened)
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup fresh raspberries

Stand 16 wafersaround inside edge of 9 inch round pan lined with plastic wrap. melt 3 chocolate squares as directed on package

Beat pudding mixes with 2 cups milk in medium bowl with whisk 2 min. add melted chocolate, mix well. stir in 1 cup cool whip pour into prepared pan.

Beat cream cheese, sugar and remaining milk with mixer until well blended. stir in 1 cup of the remaining cool whip, spread over pudding, top with remaining wafers. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Meanwhile, shave remaining chocolate square into curls(you can see how well I did that) ;)

Invert Torte onto plate. Remove pan and plastic wrap. Top torte with remaining cool whip berries and chocolate curls.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!!

You could tell she felt sooo BIG!
M&M droll must have been tasty...
She was actually kinda particular about where each candy went...
Kloee's final product!
We talked the men into decorating cookies too
Darren put in some good time and it turned out cute....
so did Ricky!
These were the finished "MAN" cookies! It was a really fun night!

ThAnKsGiViNg!!!!

For thanksgiving this year my family met at a cabin called "Spirit of Curlew Lake" It was a beautiful cabin with tons of room. It sat on a hill overlooking Curlew Lake (hence the name). I loved waking up, walking out on the heated (might I add) floors and looking out the HUGE windows at all the scenery. It was VERY snowy and pretty.  We really did have fun despite, Darren, Kloee, me and even Sydney getting sick!
My sisters and I decided to make a "Martha" table for our big dinner. (As in we wanted it to look like a Martha Stewart catalog) I think we did great!
Dad carving the TURKEY!
Kloee on the mend after being sick!
Darren said I HAD to have a picture of the food!
The big Dinner!
The boys built a man cave in one of the walk in closets, yes the fit 2 HUGE TV's and 4 adult men in this tiny space to play the new Call of Duty! Glad to be home and I am SUPER excited for Christmas now!
