Those feet are meant for walking....

Over spring break Kloee decided it was time and she started walking, since then she has had a few big tumbles but she just keeps getting back up. Here is our best take of it with just the two of us.

We are SUPER excited for baby #2 to join us this SEPTEMBER......

A couple of times a day you hear Kloee at the piano playing just a couple notes then she giggles and looks around to see who's watching and then she is on her merry way. I just love watching her explore and find new things.

Happy Birthday Megan!

My older sister and her family came to visit this weekend...it was SOOO much fun I love when they come. It was her birthday so we had this cake which was super fun to make but I was kinda sad it didn't look as good as the picture where I got the recipe from. Hers was beautiful. It was so yummy though!

...and here are the crazy kids, we met up in spokane to have dinner and hit a couple second hand stores, it was so nice to get out of town for an afternoon!

Just Swinging...

We have been having some REALLY nice weather lately so we took outside to the swing that is in front of our apartment here. She loved being pushing in front but....

not as much in back!

I'm looking forward to more future days of spending time outside with here.

Kloee's favorite place...

Kloee loves to stand at the window, she stands there when Darren leaves for school and walks down the hill, she watches out the window in the afternoon (we are beginning to think she is going to be a nosey little girl:) and she watches out them again when I start making dinner because she knows Darren will be walking back up the hill very soon!

Just some new fun facts about Kloee: her new preferred method of travel is to stand and grab/leap towards the nearest furniture, she LOVES baths/showers if she hears the water she comes running(at least her fastest crawl), she has two bottom teeth which I have yet to get a picture of she hates when I mess with her mouth, she loves to play and talk and she is a very independent girl which makes my life really easy, on most days I can finish my list of "TO DO'S". She is working on standing by herself but after a couple of tries each day she gets a bit chicken and hurries to sit down. It is so fun to watch her grow!

Climbing Badger Mt.

A couple weekends ago we decided last minute to take off and go home for a few days. It was a much needed break and we enjoyed the sunshine. It was a quick trip but we did get to hike up Badger Mt. Man am I out of shape, I was huffing and puffing the whole way up but it was very refreshing and nice to get some fresh air. Kloee loved it she giggled most of the way up.

Valentine's Day...finally!

For Valentine's Day I decided to go all out...we don't usually do much but this year I was feeling festive. We invited a few friends over since it was on Sunday for some steak and lobster I did a REALLY bad job at taking pictures but it was a lot of fun. Braxton and Kloee are BFF's and they exchanged Valentine's they played so well together we ate almost our whole meal with no babies on our lap.

I did get a picture of the lobster I was pretty proud that we pulled it off and it was so YUMMY! I couldn't believe how easy it was.
