Yes, I finally put my projects away for a weekend (kind of I took one along) and we went up to twin lakes, Darren's family has been going there for a week every summer since he was little and its full of fun like swimming, biking, boating, fishing, games and LOTS of GREAT food. We had a great time and I was SOO glad we decided to go.
Just in case you can't remember...this was Kloee last year testing out the waters....
Well this was her this year. Yes, Darren is pouring the cold water over her had and she was loving it.
She played in the water for a long time and really didn't want to get out but when she started shivering we decided it was time.
We did a lot of this........RELAX! It was so nice to read and talk next to the lake. Kloee as you can tell sure knew how to relax! (By the way this picture is totally candid she did this all on her own)
She sure loved the water....
Darren's cousins caught this turtle....just another tradition so Im told
This is a terrible picture but this is Darren skiing he makes it look so easy.
We took Kloee in the boat to watch Darren ski, I wish I could say she loved it....she didn't she hated the life jacket and was unsure the whole boat ride. Maybe next year.
We did get one night of fishing in, which is my favorite thing to do there. I caught a really big bass and some smaller ones. It was a lot of fun.
You can see the excitement on Darren's face when I caught the biggest fish again I made him pose with his fish and he wasn't very happy.
We took a short 15 min ferry ride on the way over I think it was Kloee's favorite part of the trip...What a DIVA!!!
for way less then half the price I got TWO new crib sets that match by inventing these..........
My mom helped with dimensions but I'm VERY proud to say the idea and the sewing was all me. I probably am WAY too tickled with myself but all well I LOVE how they turned out and I cant wait to get them to Moscow to put them in the cribs!
