October Fest!

My family has started a new tradition of October Fest to celebrate our German heritage, we tried lots of new German dishes that to my surprise was pretty tasty and my mom read to us a little bit about our ancestors.  It was a full day of cooking, visiting, eating and having fun!

Sydney loved Great Grandpa!

Kloee and Emily with Grandma Jiggy...they sure are turning into being THE best of friends...

There were lots of apples to eat and when the older kids would set their apple down Kloee was there to be clean up crew.

She bit chunks off the whole apple for about an hour when we decided she probably had enough apples for the day.

My aunt made this adorable hat for Kloee (and lots more for Sydney) it was hard to get it on her but she loved it after that.

Such a good visit...we sure wish we had more time though so we could get everyone visited too many people to little time. Maybe next time.

Whats Up DAD?

Darren and I looked over one afternoon and Kloee was just standing there just like this! We almost didn't get a picture but she stood there just long enough. TOO FUNNY!

Oh Kloee

While visiting the Tri-Cities this last weekend we stayed with my parents and we put Kloee in the computer room....we failed to notice the bed was up next to the bookcase where many items were easily accessible for Kloee luckily her item of choice was the Kleenex and it lulled her right to sleep!

Looks like it was fun! We had a great time laughing about it too!

Diaper Shower!

My sisters were so GREAT to through me a last minute diaper shower the decorations and food were amazing and I'm so greatful to have them think of me....SISTERS are the BEST!

Kloee's new love....

Kloee LOVES tomatillos...I was using them in a dinner one night and I had to start chopping faster to make sure some were left for dinner I can't believe how much she liked them and they were raw and plain...I love that she loves veggies!!

Sydney (4 weeks)

So I dropped the ball for Sydney's 4 week pictures this is the only one I have...sigh..all well, Sydney is growing like a weed, she has almost out grown all her newborn outfits and has moved up to 0-3 months already, I cant remember her exact weight but shes over 9lbs already. She is an amazing sleeper and sleeps 6-8 a night, I really have no complaints, Kloee is loving her more and more everyday and its getting hard to make sure Sydney isn't smothered!

I think she looks like her Daddy!

 My mother-in-law pulled out some baby pictures of Darren this weekend and I just had to put the comparisons on here I think Sydney looks A LOT like him...
