15 days and counting....

Well Darren is going to have STOMACH SURGERY!!!

After a looking at Darren's complete digestive track 4 different ways our Dr. has only found one abnormality, he has a Diverticulum of the stomach which is a pouch (the surgeon said looks kinda like a mushroom on the outside of his stomach) that has grown off the fundus part of the stomach...(for all those non-medical people-like myself- thats the top of the stomach). His diverticulum is 4cm big which according to the radiologist, Dr. and surgeon is VERY large and explains his stomach pain and bad burps.

We are anxiously awaiting the  surgery, it has about a week of serious recovery and then three more weeks where he can't lift things but we have a good feeling that this might just do the trick to helping him feel better! So of course keep him in your prayers on April 14th, while he has his surgery!

Getting Back into the Swing.....

Well since my last post EVERYONE but my was sick again and so I spent our Spring Break -which I was excited about, but turned out to be a bust!;(  playing nurse day and night. EXHAUSTING!!! I am happy to announce we are all better and doing GREAT, finally. I've spent the last couple weeks SPRING CLEANING!! I have cleaned out and rearranged every room in the house and I have purged TONS! YaHoO!!! I finally feel like my house is clean, we are HOPING (fingers crossed and as long as everything goes right) to be moving into a three bedroom this summer we are on a waiting list and have been told there is a good chance, I'm am excited to have some more room and I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but I am afraid it's too late!

We had to take our main computer in to have the motherboard changed out so I've gotten a bit behind on my posting, well that is on my to do list this week so check back often for all of our recent happenings!!!

SPRING BREAK IS HERE AT LAST!!!

Wow, these last few weeks have been LONG, filled with sick kids, (sick mom), LOTS of Dr. Appointments, learning new tricks, and getting caught up around the house.  I still have a long way to go with organizing my house, (especially because I am EASILY distracted with CRAFTS), but we are MAKING it.

We decided to stay home this year for spring break to work some extra shifts and save a little more money because we are saving so hard for a LARGER vehicle, the Subaru only has enough room for maybe a weekend trip with all the stuff we have to haul for both girls, it's a bit cramped!

Sydney turned 6 months 2 days ago....she's up to 15lbs and in the 25% for her height and weight!! Yeah for her. She continues to be our smile queen and is just SO happy all the time, she has been pro at rolling over for a while now and her main mode of transportation is now scooting (only backwards though).  She is trying SO hard to crawl already too she can get up on all fours but can't seem to move forward, its really fun to watch, she is also becoming a pro at sitting, (only if she wants to, if not she lunges backward)

Kloee is so close to being two, (one more month) her independence is really starting to show, she is repeating just about anything back to us and is mimicking everything we do, Darren and I are quickly realizing how we need to watch everything we do and say because she is WATCHING us! Kloee loves to sing and dance which excites me that she loves music, Growing up it was always a HUGE part of my life so Ive always hope my kids would WANT it to be part of theirs.

Darren has been busy at school, helping with the sick kids and has been going to one Dr appointment after another, still no results of why he has this stomach problem and I think we are starting to think they might not figure it out. We will let you know the results when and if we ever get them, as for now we know pretty much NOTHING!!!

As for me, I keep busy keeping up with the two girls, being the compassionate service leader in my ward, working and WORKING OUT at Anytime fitness (I'm seeing results and I'm FEELING amazing), and of course working on TOP SECRET crafts and some that are not so top secret!

I hope this is a GOOD update of what we are up to.....I know I've been bad a posting lately I feel like I might have just caught up with things around here!!!

Well to prolong any cleaning my house is in desperate need of....I made these ties and with the leftover scraps I had enough to make some matching flowers....THANKS Kyra for the opportunity to make these, HOPE the WEDDING turns out great!!

Snow much????

Yep that's how much snow we've gotten this week so far!!! Can't say I'm all that excited about it.....
