Pop Tab Purses!!

These are SUPER fun!!! I've been having a blast making them. Thanks to everyone for saving me the pop tabs I've made some really fun purses, my next one is going to be a diaper bag, can't wait to start it!!

I have started selling them as well, hopefully in the NEAR future I'll get some up on my etsy but for now Im just doing it by word of mouth and doing custom orders, most have been for my family but I met a VERY NICE lady in the waiting room while Darren was in surgery who ordered this black and pink one for her grandaughter, she LOVED it so much she ordered another one, so anyone interested either keep an eye on my etsy (which has nothing for sale right now) or just shoot me an email size and color Ill be happy to make one for you!!

Easters!!

We tried to keep Easter as simple as we could, the girls shared this basket...
Which of course Kloee claimed as her own...
These little people are BY FAR her favorite, Ive been picking them up at yard sales trying to collect them all she plays with them all the time.
New Easter outfits were a must and I really lucked out.....I originally found Sydney's dress at my favorite Children's consignment shop (brand new with tags!!) and I bout another dress for Kloee but I was secret sad that they didn't match, well about a week lady I was yardsaleing and a lady gave us a bag of girls clothes for FREE!!! It just so happened that the same dress but in Kloee's size was in the bag. It totally made my day!
We finished up Easter at our friends house with GREAT food and dying Easter eggs!

Easter egg hunt!

Our stake put on a Easter Carnival, (no offense to those who put it on but) I was pleasantly surprised how much fun Kloee had. There was a lot of games that she enjoyed playing. It happened to land on her birthday so we dropped by for a bit.
One of her favorite things was getting her face painted. It was a good thing two of my friends were doing it because she was pretty hesitant at first.....but once she saw the finished product......
she thought it was pretty cool. She giggled when she saw her face in the mirror and I thought it was pretty cute.
By far her FAVORITE was decorating her Egg hunt bag, she didn't want to leave that station.
Kloee started to through a TANTRUM anytime we mentioned going near the bunny there was no bribe good enough to even tempt her, but Sydney seemed to be fine with it.
......Then the hunt was on!!!!
It took her just a bit to get the idea of it down but she figured it out.  The fun part was a lot of the kids left before all the eggs were found, Darren and I went around the room after everyone had left and found all of the less obvious hiding places so she filled her bag.....
She was SUPER excited about all the candy!!!

We opened presents.....
Took her for icecream....
and laughed and giggled....
she was pretty excited about her presents!!!

But yet you want daddy for the fun stuff like reading to you at bedtime....sigh....all well I GET to see you ALL day I wouldn't trade it for the world! Love my Daddy's girls SOOO much!

Megan came.....

I absolutely LOVE having my sister come to visit!!! She always brings a GREAT project and is up for anything. This time we kinda had a girls weekend and the guys tagged along (they felt left out) We hit up a bunch of yard sales, went to Kendick to some Antique store (can't wait to go back despite Kloee getting carsick on the way there), worked on project and as a bonus I got my hair done. Such a good weekend. This was the project we made.
Skirts for the girls, super simple and fun...

You can tell how excited Kloee was for the picture but we took them anyways.
This one is probably the best we got of the actual skirt! Come back soon Burch clan!!!

General Confrence weekend

We LOVED general conference weekend as always it is such a wonderful weekend to hear the prophets voice and get more direction from God.
This year we had some of our friends over in between sessions for homemade donuts soooo YUMMY....
My friend also taught me how to make homemade suckers....Darren shared with Sydney and she LOVED them!

You can see how thrilled Darren was about the surgery, but everything went well and he is doing great. (If you want to actually see the diverticulum they took out of him you'll have to leave me your e-mail I'm afraid some of my readers probably couldn't stomach it but really it's not that bad)

Darren's favorite shirt had to get a picture of it ;)

Recovery, I thought was pretty fun I had someone to talk to all day and he even played games with me!!! Verdict is still out though if the surgery is going to solve the stomach issues, it's a waiting game so please keep him in your prayers!!!

Murder Mystery Night!!

We went on a date a few weeks ago to a Murder Mystery Dinner, by far one of the funnest dates I've been on....I went ALL out looking for the perfect costumes and Darren was a really good sport about dressing up.
The scene took place in the 1940's, I was a Princess and Darren was an air force captain.
(This picture is mainly for my sister she wanted to see how my hair turned out long story short it got done but was quite the ordeal!)
The whole group.....it was a fun night with lots of laughter what a great night!
