Baby Project #3: Car seat makeover

It is really amazing all the cool things out there for babies right now I've had to limit myself on the things that I ABSOLUTELY WANT and things I think I cute well this was one of my (silly) wants...making over the car seat.......I know I didn't need it but I'm VERY happy with how it turned out.
I made this over to keep the baby's face out of the wind and Darren loves it simply because it straps on and he doesn't have to worry about it slipping off while carrying it.
I tore apart the lining and used it as a pattern to get it to fit just right.....
I did add a little more puff so baby#2 will be more comfortable. Anyways, it was a fun and challenging project that I am glad is finally done, now all I need is the baby that is supposed to go in it!

Oh my good that is so cute! I love those covers for the car seat too because they stay up from the kids face and don't slip off! What fun!

You're so talented Tessa! Remember when we made those quilts for our beds and it took us months and months?! You've come a long way :)
