This was Darren's first time rock climbing on REAL rocks. My family has been going to this set of rocks for years and it was fun to finally get Darren there. He did great! We had a blast it was just a quick half Day adventure and I was so glad to get the chance to get out, its been way to long....
This is his first run up...
Tradition stands that when you get to the top you have to kiss the chains and when you get to the bottom of your very first run you get "chalked" right in the middle of the forehead....and yes I got a picture!
This is a picture from down below at the car this is just a section of all the rocks....Such a pretty place...too much fun!

WOAH! That is rock hard core!!! hehehe....you are serious about rocl climbing! I would look like a big elephant hanging on for dear life! Looks like your fam had fun! Yay for darrens first time! I am sure he was a pro:)

Man Dru would LOVE these rocks.
I wish we had something like this close by.
Dru has the gears but never goes.
But that might have something to do with studying every second of the day.
I"m glad he did SO WELL.
I'm sure you were VERy proud.
This totally brings back memories of rock climbing with you on those rocks years ago. (Probably '03) I bet you don't even remember but it was sooo much fun for a beginner like me! :) How fun that you get to go do it again!
