a little TLC
Do you remember last year when we moved apartments and we also got this jungle in front of our house?
Remember how it took me all day but I got it to look like this?
Well over the summer while we were gone the jungle came back and my pretty flowers did not. Oh and my curbing (the black part whatever you call it) was missing....Darren went hunting and we found it thankfully!
Then he spent the rest of the day fixing my flower bed since I'm huge now and the whole bending over thing is just not working out recently.
Kloee got in on it too, yes in her PJ's no judging...
She is going to be a great helper when we have a garden someday!
The finished products I bought some bushes that bloom instead this year, hopefully I can keep them a live.
So much better right? I should add that he did all of this with a tiny hand shovel. We were so cheap we bought the $3 one and well you get what you pay for, it broke 1/4 of the way through it so it took a long time.

Looks awesome! Kaitlynn loves helping her dad out in the yard too and I cannot wait to have a real garden one of these years when we stay in the same place from spring to fall.
Tessa, it looks great! Sorry that the mums did not come back. The other shrubs you got should for sure though!! I can't believe the jungle came back so strong. It looks awesome now though. =)

I found a little shovel at the $1 store and it's still going strong.
Maybe it was a diamond in the rough.
